Fifteen percent of Adults in United States still don't use the Internet at all. The percentage is a bit higher than in earlier surveys. Kathryn Zickuhr a researcher at the Pew Research Center's Internet Project said that commonly because they feel that the internet not relevant to them or it's too difficult to use.

The Reason they don't use internet

As the report from pewinternet.org , Fifteen percent of American adults ages 18 and older do not use the internet or email. Below is the why they don't use internet or email.

  • 21% because they are not interested about the internet
  • 13% because they don't have a computer
  • 10% because they feel the internet is too difficult
  • 8% because they don't have the skills
  • 8% because they think, their ages too old
  • 7% said that they don't have access
  • 6% said that internet is expensive
  • 6% said that they don't want it
  • 4% said that internet wasted their time
  • 4% because physically unable
  • 3% said that they don't have a time
  • 3% because they are worried about their privacy / hackers / viruses / spyware / spam 

The internet touch their life

Even they don't go online, these fifteen percent of Adults state that internet touches their life. Below are the survey results about how internet touches them.
  • 44% offline adults asked their circle to look something up or complete a task on the internet for them.
  • 23% of them live in a household with someone used the internet
  • 14% of them said that they once used to use the internet, but have since stopped for some reason

Offline Americans Adults by Ages group :

  • 44 percent adults aged 65 years and over 
  • 17 percent of adults aged 50-64
  • 8 percent of adults aged 30-49
  • and 2 percent of adults aged 18 - 29
The conclusions of Pew's survey result derive through telephone selection interviews performed through Princeton Survey Study Colleagues Global from April seventeen to May 19, 2013, between a sample regarding 2,252 grownups age range eighteen and older.
